this is a crow who visits me at work every day. i feed it bacon. i’m about 98% sure it’s a female (she shows up with another crow who is a lot more timid. he hangs back and he’s slightly larger. the size difference and the fact that they come in a pair is what makes me assume they are a mated pair.) my coworker started calling her mortimer but i named her cora even though it doesn’t feel quite right to me to call her that after calling her mortimer for so long.
