i got to do a handful of tattoos while i was up in seattle!  sorry i wasn’t able to squeeze more people in, but i am feeling pretty wiped from travel and making art all year long!  time to settle in and work on some big tattoos at home!  thanks so much to everyone who came to belfry oddities in seattle for my show, thanks for getting tattooed, thanks for being fucking awesome!!! and thanks to jackson street tattoo for having me as a guest artist.  i look forward to returning to seattle soon.

skadi-of-the-north asked: Hey there! I am curious about the best way to work on designing a tattoo—do you want me to make an appointment just to discuss the layout, and then a second one to do the work? Or is that something you can do via email? I am local, but across town and transport can sometimes be a challenge. :)

i prefer to make an in-person consultation for tattoos.   the number to the shop is 503 231 1199, and i am there weds-sat and sometimes sunday.  thanks!

Anonymous asked: Hey Alice! I started following your food blog and am now so in love with your tattoos and art. I was wondering - have you ever done white ink tattoos? I've read they can heal differently from traditional colors and some artists prefer not to do 'em.

i don’t do white ink tattoos!

SEATTLE!

Last post about my opening in Seattle, I swear!  I’m headed up in a few and the opening is TONIGHT at 6 p.m., at Belfry Oddities 309 3rd Ave S  Seattle, WA.  Hope to see you there!   And please keep in mind how much time I spend on the internet if you’re self-conscious about saying hello, it’s fine, WE’RE FINE, WE’RE ALL CHECKING TUMBLR 400 MILLION TIMES A DAY.  :D

sepulchre-by-the-sounding-sea asked: Hi, I'm 19 and I have a whopping 0 tattoos. But I want them everywhere from my chest to my thighs and everywhere in between. I was wondering which of the areas typically are more painful? And other things to expect?

everyone’s body is different and all tattoos hurt.  just relax, take some ibuprofen, and you’ll be fine.

wine--mouth asked: Is your shop able to do apprenticeships?

nope!
